We are seeking a highly experienced Principal HV Plant Design Engineer to lead the delivery of primary engineering design for electrical substation projects up to 400kV. This role involves overseeing a team of design engineers and supporting the Design Managers in the day-to-day coordination of engineering and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the design team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in line with customer specifications, National Grid standards, and relevant international regulations. Act as TP137 / SR188 CDAE and LCDAE for National Grid projects, ensuring design assurance and compliance. Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards in line with CDM regulations, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
