Principal Infrastructure Engineer (Nutanix HCI IaC) London / WFH to £125k

As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing the infrastructure that powers the fast-growing retail brokerage business, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the infrastructure. You'll take a lead role in the design of secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure including on-premise, cloud and hybrid, collaborating closely with software engineers, DevOps and SRE teams to align infrastructure with application requirements and define infrastructure standards across a range of teams.

You will provide technical expertise and guidance on Nutanix HCI, managing several thousand virtual machines and also help to drive the adoption of IaC using tools such as Terraform.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid model with two days a week work from home, when you are in the office you'll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of facilities including roof terrace, restaurant and break out areas.

About you:

You have an indepth knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), requiring a mix of infrastructure, virtualisation and cloud-native You have experience with hypervisors: Hyper-V in Nutanix clusters, Virtual Machine provisioning, live migration, cloning, snapshots and Disaster Recovery within HCI environments You have the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage and network layers You have technical leadership and mentoring skills You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills, you're comfortable working with other teams and business stakeholders
