A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and mission-critical facilities.

This position is available on either a permanent or contract basis, depending on candidate preference and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design from concept through detailed engineering and construction support

Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications

Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings

Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions

Contribute to business development and proposal preparation

Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the mechanical functionRequirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; Chartered Engineer status

7+ years of experience in mechanical design within consultancy or project delivery environments

Proven leadership in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects

Strong understanding of HVAC, utilities, and process systems in regulated industries

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
