You will provide engineering input to design outputs in collaboration with other disciplines, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, Control Philosophies, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams. You will deliver technical presentations to clients and other design engineers, contribute to collaborative design discussions and workshops (including safety reviews, HAZOPs and ALMs), and support the Flood and Coastal Mechanical team and development of junior engineers. You will understand how lowland drainage pumping stations operate and gain experience in assessing existing site infrastructure to develop and deliver the mechanical design. You will have awareness of the Eel Regulations 2009 and their implications on flood and coastal pumping stations. You will also have, or be open to developing, experience within the energy, infrastructure & water sectors in a mechanical engineering capacity.

You will be able to provide engineering input to design outputs in collaboration with other disciplines and be comfortable with presenting to clients and teams. You will also be able to provide technical leadership to the Flood and Coastal Mechanical team and support the development of junior engineers. A strong understanding of lowland drainage pumping stations and the implications of the Eel Regulations 2009 is preferred, as is experience in the energy, infrastructure & water sectors.

Preferences: Chartered status (IMechE) and experience with pumping systems, water networks, and related design and commissioning activities.
