Principal Software Engineer / Architect (C# .Net AWS) Remote / Bristol to £100k Are you a highly technical Principal Software Engineer with strong architecture and design skills? You could be progressing your career at a financial services tech consultancy that specialise in solutions for Pensions and Investment Managers. Location / Working pattern

You can work remotely, from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the Bristol or London office fairly regularly (e.g. once a quarter). Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, robust and secure software solutions. Shape the technical direction of products, balancing architectural design patterns with pragmatic solution design. Guide engineering teams through implementation; ensure secure coding and best practices; create appropriate technical documentation. Split roughly 50/50 between architecture and coding. About you / Qualifications

Experience with designing, implementing and enhancing native cloud solutions. Expertise with C# .Net including .Net Core. Experience with microservices, CQRS and Event Sourcing. Experience with Cloud technologies, AWS preferred but Azure also considered. Strong database experience with SQL (PostgreSQL or SQL Server). Collaborative with excellent communication skills; experience coaching and mentoring. Comfortable working as part of a leadership team. What’s in it for you
