Job Description:

At WorkLyf Group, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Engineer with strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Bill of Materials (BOM) control to join our client.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless product launches, and maintaining accurate BOMs to support production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

* Lead and support New Product Introduction projects by collaborating with technical, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop efficient and scalable production processes.

* Develop, document, and implement process workflows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new and existing products.

* Manage and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) data in the ERP system, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and production requirements.

* Analyse production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities; implement improvements accordingly.

* Coordinate cross-functional communication between Technical, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams during product development and launch phases.

* Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions related to process or BOM discrepancies.

* Support pilot runs and process validation activities to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

* Monitor process metrics and provide regular reports on NPI progress and BOM status to stakeholders.

* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

* Proven experience (5+ years) in process engineering with a focus on New Product Introduction.

* Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials management and control within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

* Familiarity with manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality standards.

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

* Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.

* Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools, and MS Office Suite.

* Experience in Engineering and manufacturing.

* Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related process improvement methodologies.
