Performance Objectives
Lead problem solving activities and apply problem-solving methodologies (5Y, 8D, Fishbone etc) to define and solve problems at root cause as a method of improving operational performance, in particular on process capability and quality problems. Participate in problem-solving peer reviews, training and awareness activities to help the organisation develop a strong problem-solving culture. Implement and/or project manage problem solutions through (but not limited to) working with external suppliers, working with customers, proving out improved technologies and programmes, completing Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities, etc. Support Engineers, technicians and area leads on process stability and improvement activities. Support the updating of manufacturing documentation such as stage drawings, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), etc Monitoring the resolution of identified problems (Internal & external) and ensuring that the new standards determined by this solution are maintained Participate in the Daily Operations meeting and relevant Standard Diary meetings, taking ownership of assigned problems for resol...
