Process / Production Engineer – International Biotech Scale-Up – HQ Oxford

Salary - £65,000 / £70,000 + Benefits

Production Development Engineer

You’ll play a key role in:

• Developing and refining manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield & quality
• Troubleshooting PCBAs and electronic assemblies to minimise downtime
• Supporting NPIs and transitioning prototypes into scalable production
• Ensuring compliance (ISO 9000, RoHS, REACH, CE)
• Collaborating with R&D, Quality & Supply Chain teams
• Mentoring production staff and driving continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in production/manufacturing engineering (biotech/medtech preferred)
• Strong PCB assembly debugging & hardware failure analysis skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics/datasheets & use test equipment
• Soldering/rework skills (QFNs, BGAs, 0402 passives)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or DFM principles
• A problem-solver with a passion for continuous improvement
