Are you a practical problem solver with a passion for production engineering? We’re looking for a Production Engineer to join our dynamic client at a leading manufacturing company based in Honiton.

About the Role

As a key part of their engineering department, you'll play a vital role in maintaining, improving, and developing their production processes, machinery, and equipment. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, tools, and production equipment

Supporting design and development of new machinery and components

Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on the production line

Working closely with the production team to improve efficiency and reduce downtime

Ensuring all engineering work complies with health & safety regulations

About You

Qualified in Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent)

Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role within manufacturing or production

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Good knowledge of mechanical systems and production machinery

Team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
