Our client, a leading entity in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a highly skilled Production Test Engineer with a focus on Live Build - Electronic/Electrical, located in Stevenage. This is a contract position aimed at enhancing their current capabilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform electrical testing on live builds, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.\nUtilise measurement and test principles using appropriate test equipment.\nDiagnose and resolve issues at electronic system and sub-system levels.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults.\nMaintain detailed documentation of test results and diagnostics processes.\nAddress high voltage safety requirements and ensure all procedures are followed meticulously.\nApply knowledge of RF and microwave technology at the system level, where applicable.\nContribute to the development and refinement of test equipment throughout the CADMID product lifecycle.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience as an Electrical Tester, particularly within the Defence or Aerospace industry.\nSignificant experience with measurement and test principles, and associated test equipment.\nProficiency in electronic system and sub-system level fault finding.\nUnderstanding of CADMID product lifecycle for test equipment.\nKnowledge of RF and microwave technology at the system level is advantageous.\nHigh Voltage training and awareness.\nFamiliarity with SAP systems is beneficial.\nProficiency in MS Office for technical specification and report preparation.\n\nQualifications:\n\nHNC/HND in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. \nIf you are an experienced Production Test Engineer with the right skills and qualifications, eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the Defence and Security sector, we encourage you to apply now and join our client's esteemed team in Stevenage
