Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a well-established design, engineering, and environment consultancy, on a contract basis. For this role, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client's office, located near Manchester, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of water treatment projects, including the United Utilities AMP8 projects.\n\n-Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40-£45 (depending on experience).\n\n-Hybrid working arrangement.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n-Coordinate and oversee the project from conception through to completion.\n\n-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure objectives, timelines and budgets are met.\n\n-Monitor design progress, engineering activities, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.\n\n-Assist in developing and reviewing project plans, specifications, and technical documentation.\n\n-Engage with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain communication and alignment throughout the delivery process.\n\n-Support the identification and resolution of engineering and design-related issues.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\n-A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.\n\n-Proficient in the use of software tools such as SCADA, PLC, and Telementry.\n\n-Proven experience in delivering complex engineering projects within the water treatment sector.\n\n-Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\n-Relevant professional certifications or working towards chartered status (e.g., ICE, IMechE, CIOB) would be advantageous
