Quality Engineer Blackburn £35,000 £40,000 + Benefits

An established and steadily growing engineering business is seeking a Quality Engineer to support continued growth and customer demand. The company designs and manufactures a broad range of precision-engineered products, including solenoid valves and actuators, supplying into regulated industries such as rail, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and marine. With demand spread across international markets and multiple sectors, they continue to invest in people and capability. The facility is well equipped, with in-house CNC machining, coil winding, assembly, testing, and finishing (powder coating and wet paint).

The Role:

Youll take responsibility for day-to-day quality issues across the business, focusing on customer returns, non-conformances, and root cause analysis. You'll lead structured problem-solving (8D, Ishikawa, CAPA) and support production teams with quality improvements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that involves working closely with both internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
