We're recruiting a

Quality Engineer

for a hands-on role within a certified manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys working cross-functionally to ensure quality is upheld across internal processes, supplier relationships, and customer expectations. You'll play a key role in maintaining ISO standards, conducting audits, performing inspections, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain

ISO 9001

and

AS9120

certification procedures. Assist with

customer and supplier audits

- from preparation through to follow-up. Conduct

quality checks

on materials, production, and finished goods. Investigate and report

non-conformances , contributing to

root cause analysis

and corrective actions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date

quality documentation

and records. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams (production, purchasing, etc.) to meet quality standards. Support

continuous improvement initiatives

across operations. Ensure compliance with

CECC/BS , ISO, and customer-specific standards.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in

quality assurance/engineering

within

electronics, manufacturing , or other regulated sectors. Solid understanding of

ISO 9001 ,

AS9120 , and related systems. Confident using

inspection tools

and working with technical documentation. Strong

communication skills

(written and verbal). Organised, analytical, and comfortable resolving quality issues methodically. Familiarity with

CECC, BS , or

UK defence standards
