Internal Sales/ Quotation Engineer / Norwich / Permanent / Salary £26-£28K per annum

Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an internal sales/ Quotation Engineer for our client innovative design and engineering manufacturing site based in Norwich.

As aQuotation Engineer, youll be responsible for preparing and managing technical and commercial proposals for new business opportunities. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will ensure that all tenders meet customer requirements and align with our clients high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit tender documents in response to global RFQs
  • Review and interpret customer technical specifications and commercial needs
  • Produce accurate cost estimates using internal systems
  • Respond to customer technical queries and provide clarifications
  • Liaise with OEMs and internal engineering teams to ensure offer accuracy
  • Support business development efforts through professional and responsive tendering

Quotation Engineerwill have good communication skills at all levels of the business, with good written and verbal communication and well-developed interpersonal skills. Understanding of rotating electrical machines and Experience in an engineering manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.

Quotation Engineerwill have good organisational skills with a genuine ability to multitask. Have good time management skills coupled with the ability to effectively prioritise.

This is a permanent, full-time role Monday to Friday with early finish on Friday.
