Quotations Engineer – Norwich, Full-time

  • Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 gross per annum

We are seeking a Quotations Engineer to join a highly regarded global engineering client based in Norwich. This role involves providing tenders for new business opportunities worldwide, coordinating and compiling technical clarifications to ensure products meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will also promote the company's brand and assist in selling products to our customers, while fully complying with the company's Management Systems, incorporating Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety Requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Tenders following receipt of customer's request for quotation.
  • Read and review customer's technical specification and commercial requirements.
  • Produce cost estimates using the internal costing system.
  • Support customers with detailed technical clarifications on submitted bids.
  • Communicate with Customers and Original Equipment Manufacturers.
  • Liaise with Internal Engineering teams to ensure any technical clarifications are answered effectively and correctly.
  • Carry out other tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Line Manager, that are within the role holder’s ability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Essential: GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths (or equivalent).
  • Desirable: Degree qualified in Engineering or a similar applicable field.
