Overview

RF Engineer role within Akkodis' Aerospace and Defence business unit. Location: Templecombe, Somerset (hybrid). You will be part of a small team working on novel antennas and antenna control systems, involved through the full lifecycle from requirements through to delivery and in-service support.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of RF and electronics products
• Technical oversight and ownership of RF and electronics products
• Delivery of engineering solutions on time and within budget
• Management of engineering projects from the requirements phase through design, development and IVVQ
• Provide support as required to: bid and sales team; production team (resolution of shop floor issues); off-site suppliers or customers

Required experience / Qualifications

• Previous experience of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design and development and IVVQ
• Skilled in Electronics and RF Engineering
• Digital and analogue electronic design
