Role Overview
Join a dynamic, fast-reacting team responsible for the analysis and justification of metallic and composite wing structures for static strength to support structural repairs using validated methods. You will ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, and manufacturing capability guidelines. Your primary focus will be providing stress analysis for repair and acceptance of damaged aircraft structures, working closely with Design and F&DT engineers within challenging timeframes.
This team provides tailored and optimal repair solutions in response to damage reports, ensuring operator schedules are maintained and aircraft downtime is minimised. We enjoy tackling all types of wing structure damage, delivering repairs wherever and whenever needed.
Responsibilities
Perform static strength analysis for repairs using approved industry methods and tools
Create, compile, and coordinate static strength justification reports and associated engineering documentation
Plan, monitor, and execute all tasks required for Repair Engineering to meet customer deadlines
