Our purpose is to deliver energy to the world, today and tomorrow. For over 100 years, bp has focused on discovering, developing, and producing oil and gas in the nations where we operate. We are one of the few companies globally that can provide governments and customers with an integrated energy offering. Delivering our strategy sustainably is fundamental to achieving our ambition to be a net zero company by 2050 or sooner.

About The Role

  • Reservoir performance management dashboard
  • Owning one of the Region models used for reservoir performance prediction (FFM, GAP, Harmony)
  • Contribution to the DMS annual work plan, with specific deliverables agreed through squad Agile implementation (sprint planning / review; regular stand-ups)

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • Strong industry track record in reservoir engineering
  • Able to clearly defend and articulate a high level of reservoir engineering understanding
  • Experienced in gas reservoir depletion management (operating plan, surveillance planning and analysis, reservoir health)
  • Knowledge of subsurface description, reservoir management, surveillance and risk management planning
  • Reservoir simulation experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate at all levels
