Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Section Engineer to join our dynamic Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team in beautiful Culham, Oxfordshire . You’ll be working on the Thames Water Framework, contributing to vital infrastructure projects that impact communities.

Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility available to suit your needs!

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the engineering and technical compliance of our projects. You’ll be the bridge between design and construction, providing essential support to keep everything on track.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering focused engineering support and technical assurance, coordinating between design, delivery, and commercial teams.
• Interpreting design documentation to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Assisting construction teams with technical queries and resolving design conflicts.
• Managing temporary works designs and approvals in line with site requirements.
• Monitoring construction progress and providing accurate technical input for project reporting and planning.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you have:

• An HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience in infrastructure or wastewater construction projects, focusing on engineering assurance.
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• A working knowledge of construction methods, health and safety legislation, and site quality procedures.
• A CSCS card and a full driving license.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
