Join Our Team as a Section Engineer!

Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We’re looking for a Section Engineer to join our dynamic Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Culham, Oxfordshire . You’ll be working on the Thames Water Framework, contributing to vital infrastructure projects that make a difference!

Location: Culham, Oxfordshire

Hours: 45 hours per week – we offer some flexibility, so just let us know what works for you!

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the engineering and technical compliance of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing focused engineering support and technical assurance, coordinating between design, delivery, and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and on time.
• Interpreting design documentation and ensuring works align with approved drawings and specifications.
• Supporting construction teams with technical queries, resolving design conflicts, and driving value engineering initiatives.
• Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and approvals in line with site requirements.
• Monitoring construction progress and providing accurate technical input for project reporting and planning.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you have:

• An HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience in infrastructure or wastewater construction projects, focusing on engineering assurance.
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and design packages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical details and site coordination.
• Knowledge of construction methods, health and safety legislation, and site quality procedures.
• A CSCS card and a full driving license.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
