OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join a growing IT team and play a key role in supporting critical business applications across a modern and complex technology stack.ResponsibilitiesInvestigating and resolving technical incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and effective root cause analysisProactively maintaining and optimising applications, performing upgrades and configuration changesMonitoring system performance, defining service-level objectives, and addressing bottlenecks before they impact usersCollaborating closely with engineering and business teams to drive operational excellenceEnhancing processes, documentation, and tooling to support continuous improvementWhat we're looking forProven experience in an application support or support engineering role, within financial services ideally, or another regulated environmentStrong knowledge of SRE principles, incident management, monitoring, and performance tuningTechnical SkillsMicrosoft: C#, VB, .NET Core, Azure, SQL Server, IIS, Windows ServerWeb: React, RESTful APIs, Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Tools: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), Dynatrace, Git, Okta, ApigeeExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teamsDesirableFamiliarity with legacy VB/C# applications in a modernised environmentExperience in automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash)Background in financial services applications or productsLocationLondon (hybrid working - 2/3 days a week in the office)This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking technology environment where you'll be empowered to take ownership, solve problems, and contribute to continuous improvement.If you're passionate about application support, thrive in complex technical environments, and want to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
