Senior Applied AI Solution Engineer

UK-Based | Hybrid / Remote with occasional client site travel

With deep technical expertise and strategic partnerships across the AI ecosystem, they help organisations unlock real business value by building scalable, production-ready AI products.

The Role

As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you’ll lead the design, build, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI applications - from LLM-powered agents to automation tools that transform how clients operate. This is a hands-on technical role with leadership scope, where you’ll take ownership of delivery, guide engineering teams, and contribute directly to innovation and IP.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading AI solution development end-to-end - from ideation and prototyping through to deployment
• Building applications powered by foundational models (OpenAI, open source), tailored to client needs
• Working closely with client stakeholders to understand problems and shape high-impact AI solutions
• Supporting and mentoring engineering teams, setting strong technical standards and promoting best practice
• Contributing to internal R&D assets and reusable codebases

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in software engineering (preferably 5+ years)
• Proficiency with Python, data processing, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG pipelines, or similar AI tooling
• Comfortable owning technical delivery and leading small teams
• Strong communication skills - able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment
