With clients and offices located nationwide, the role offers remote working with occasional office visits to support collaboration and project delivery.This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our bridges capability. We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with a collaborative mindset and a desire to mentor others.ResponsibilitiesDelivering bridge designs across all stages, from feasibility to detailed designUndertaking bridge inspections and structural assessmentsCarrying out design and assessment checksDeveloping analytical models and producing calculationsPreparing technical reports and risk assessmentsMentoring junior engineers and overseeing CAD/BIM techniciansAttending site visits as neededAbout YouDegree qualified in Civil or Structural EngineeringChartered or nearing chartership (ICE or IStructE)Strong communication and collaboration skillsComfortable working remotely and independentlyKey SkillsProficient in DMRB, MCDHW, and EurocodesExperienced with concrete and steel bridge designFamiliar with technical approval proceduresSkilled in tools such as Midas, LUSAS, and Autodesk SBDFor information about this position or any others within the Civil and Structural Engineering design market please contact Calum French.Please note to be considered for the role, you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship requirements.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
