Key Details

Location: Salford / Penrith - Remote working available, with occasional office travel required

Contract: Permanent Full-time

Salary: £45,000 - £50,500 + private healthcare + matched pension + benefits

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Bridge Engineer , you will play a crucial role in the Structures team, ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Producing and overseeing sound bridge design, assessment, and maintenance solutions that meet client requirements within budget and timelines.
• Developing innovative solutions in line with national design and assessment standards.
• Ensuring all designs comply with relevant health and safety legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations.
• Regularly reporting progress to clients and communicating effectively with line managers.

Who Are We Looking For?

This role is perfect for you if you are:

• A Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE, MIStructE, or equivalent).
• Experienced in a similar role within Bridge or Highways disciplines.
• Proficient in bridge design and assessment standards and methods of analysis.
• Skilled in managing and delivering projects within budget and time constraints.
