They are now seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their London team, focusing on one of the most exciting and technically challenging sectors in bridge engineering – moveable bridges.This is a rare opportunity to become part of a niche discipline that blends structural engineering, mechanical systems, and innovative design.The RoleLead and contribute to the design, assessment, and refurbishment of moveable bridge structures.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.Oversee project stages from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.What’s Unique About This RoleWhile prior experience in moveable bridge design is highly desirable, it’s not essential. The consultancy is open to bringing in an engineer with strong bridge design expertise and a genuine passion to move into this specialist market.
