Join our dynamic Water Team as a Senior Civil Engineer in our Belfast office with a flexible hybrid working model. Lead a team of engineers and shape the future of the water industry. This role involves the design and delivery of wastewater infrastructure and supports a talented, diverse team committed to innovation and efficiency.

Within AECOM, we work on a portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients, including NI Water, Uisce Eireann (Irish Water), Department for Infrastructure, Scottish Water, and local councils.

Responsibilities

• Expertise: Be involved in the delivery of projects from concept design through construction delivery. Create concept and detailed designs of wastewater infrastructure. Manage NEC contracts and perform financial project management including change control.
• Deliver: Compile technical notes, reports and produce feasibility studies, including financial and non-financial comparisons.
• Innovate: Develop innovative, challenging low carbon design solutions.
• Collaborate: Liaise with multidisciplinary teams across the business to develop a complete solution to meet current water supply and treatment needs and tap into the expertise of a diverse Technical Excellence capability.
• Lead: Manage junior staff and check work to ensure technical and CDM compliance throughout design and construction.

Qualifications

Here\'s what we\'re looking for:

• Civil engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Experience working on the design and management of water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
• Obtained or working towards chartership.
