Are you ready to help lead a team of talented engineers and shape the future of the water industry? Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior Civil Engineer in our Belfast office—with a flexible hybrid working model.

In this role, you will be involved in the design and delivery of wastewater infrastructure. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to support a talented, diverse team committed to innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise: Be involved in the delivery of projects from concept design right through to construction delivery. Create concept and detailed designs of wastewater infrastructure. Manage NEC contracts and perform financial project management including change control.
  • Deliver: Compile technical notes, reports and produce feasibility studies, including financial and non-financial comparisons.
  • Innovate: Develop innovative, challenging low carbon design solutions.
  • Collaborate: Liaise and work with our multidisciplinary teams across the business to develop a complete solution to meet the needs of today’s water supply and treatment challenges and tap into the expertise of a diverse field of Technical Excellence.
  • Lead: Manage junior staff and check work to ensure technical and CDM compliance throughout design and construction.

Qualifications

  • Civil engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • Experience working on the design and management of water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
  • Obtained or working towards chartership.
