Overview

We are working with a control system integration business operating across multiple industries. The company has a full order book for at least two years and is looking to grow by adding a control system engineer who can support project delivery.

90% of projects are on the Siemens TIA platform. Clients on the support side provide remote access; the ethos is to solve problems rather than book endless site time, hence overtime is capped. This is a role suitable for a mid-level engineer seeking autonomy and flexibility often found in contract roles. Projects are relatively low value with quick turnarounds and are documentation-light. This may suit someone moving away from highly regulated environments or extensive documentation.

Location: West Midlands (Remote, client sites based in the UK around the Midlands) | Salary: up to £55k base + £10k on-call rota allowance + private medical.

Job function: Engineering and design; Industry focus: Industrial Machinery Manufacturing and Automation Machinery Manufacturing.

Key Skills

• Experience of working on controls software projects from start to finish
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to write software from scratch (ideally Siemens TIA)
• Experience with complex material handling projects

Package

• Up to £55k base
• Private Medical cover
• £10k on-call rota allowance
• Half days on Friday
