Overview

Busy PLC HMI SCADA control systems engineering company seeking to add a Control Systems Engineer to its control software design team. The role involves working on PLC HMI SCADA factory automation and control projects for well-known manufacturers, with end-to-end involvement from development to working solution.

Responsibilities

  • PLC programming from scratch and configuring HMI systems (typical environments include Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, FTView, Controllogix; occasional Siemens S7, Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC)
  • Acceptance tests and commissioning of control software on large automated customer sites, including some locations outside the UK
  • End-to-end ownership of control projects from initiation to a working solution on site
  • Mentor and potentially lead projects as experience grows

Requirements / Experience

  • PLC programming and control software design experience
  • Interest in taking the next step upwards in responsibility

Location & Availability

Location: Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire (preferred) with potential for hybrid working
