Senior Data Engineer – Leeds (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)

Are you ready to take ownership of cutting-edge cloud data platforms and help shape the future of data-driven decision-making? We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise scalable data systems that power real business impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your technical expertise will directly influence strategy, architecture, and delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design & build scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines in AWS
• Own development projects, shaping solutions from concept to delivery
• Model and manage data to enable high-quality analytics and insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders across tech, data science, and business teams
• Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance
• Mentor junior engineers, driving technical standards and best practice

What we’re looking for:

• Hands-on expertise with services like Redshift, S3, Lambda, Glue, Lake Formation, CloudFormation
• Strong coding skills in Python, Spark, SQL (DBT, Apache Iceberg a bonus)
• Experience with data warehouse design, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
• Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall delivery methods
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
