Senior Design Engineer\n\nAyelsbury,HP19\n\nThe Senior Design Engineer leads a multidisciplinary design team in delivering high-performance heat exchanger systems. As the technical right-hand to the Engineering Manager, this role ensures design quality, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance across the entire product lifecycle.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nDesign pressure vessels and heat exchangers to ASME, PED, and TEMA standards\n\nCreate and review 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)\n\nApply design-for-manufacture principles and support troubleshooting during production\n\nConduct mechanical calculations and assist with FEA simulations\n\nLead design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory codes\n\nMaintain and enforce detailed design standards across product types\n\nEnsure smooth transition from design to manufacturing through structured design reviews\n\nConsider welding sequences, tolerances, and accessibility in designs\n\nCollaborate with QA/QC teams to define inspection and NDT requirements\n\nSupport the Applications team in R&D and product development activities\n\nContribute to the development and maintenance of a Product Data Management (PDM) system\n\nMaintain document control and revision tracking within the PDM\n\nCollaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to streamline release processes\n\nIntegrate PDM systems with ERP for accurate BOM and part number control\n\nSoftware & Tools:\n\n3D CAD Software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge)\n\nProduct Data Management tools (e.g., EPDM)\n\nERP systems (e.g., Epicor)\n\nMicrosoft Office Suite\n\nApply : Call (phone number removed) or send your CV to (url removed).\n\nProactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.\nProactive Global is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
