Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £80,000 DoE

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable infrastructure in AWS using Terraform.
• Create and maintain EKS and RDS clusters and network infrastructures.
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems for cloud applications.
• Ensure security by implementing and managing IAM for user, service, and data segregation policies.
• Collaborate with other engineers and developers to architect the company's cloud estate.
• Proactively identify and address potential security threats.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Solid understanding of AWS or GCP environments.
• Strong experience with IAM and managing security policies in cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with EKS, RDS, and building secure cloud architectures.
• Ability to create and manage automated deployment pipelines.
• Proactive, with a passion for building reliable and stable systems.
• Strong beliefs in the importance of logging, alerting, and monitoring strategies.
