Senior EC&I Engineer — Full time, Permanent — Preston

Are you an experienced EC&I / Electrical Design Engineer looking for a move? Do you like the idea of a 9-day fortnight and working from home? This may be a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical and control systems focused on PLC based control panels, including cabling, MCCs, Drives & Controls, Switchgear and related EC&I equipment within the Nuclear decommissioning sector.
  • Involve site surveys and develop electrical engineering solutions for cabling and control panel designs.
  • Prepare, review and check necessary calculations and designs.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of control panel / hardware development experience in a project environment with a proven track record of delivering successful systems.

Benefits

  • £50k to £60k basic salary plus overtime
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 5% Pension
  • Remote / Hybrid working — roughly 1 to 2 days in the office per week
  • 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off work)
  • 12:30pm finish on the Fridays you do work
