They have a great reputation for the quality of their services and their focus on sustainability and are looking for an engineer who shares these values.\n\nThis employer is large enough to offer stability and progression, but small enough to recognise individual contributions and achievements. The role will be instrumental in helping to continue to grow and develop a team of technically competent engineers as well as maintaining good client relationships to support future business growth.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of the electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across a number of building sectors.\n\n * Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.\n\n * Attending project meetings and disseminating the brief within the project team.\n\n * Working in an integrated project design team with other construction professionals.\n\n * Engage with junior staff in their day-to-day activities and offer advice and guidance.\n\n * Work with the team leader to help monitor expenditure, resource and work delivered.\n\nExperience Required\n\n * Excellent technical knowledge as an electrical design engineer in MEP, preferably a chartered engineer or working towards chartership.\n\n * Thorough understanding of building services engineering and interdisciplinary design.\n\n * Experience of mentoring and supervision junior members of staff
