Talent Acquisition Lead - AECA at the SJ Group – Sourcing top talent to create an inclusive workplace. Electrical Engineer (Various Grades) role within Atelier Ten, a SJ Group company of building services engineers and environmental designers focused on sustainable, high‑performing buildings.

About the role: We have established and maintain efficient business knowledge and quality management systems to provide clients with first‑class services across design, construction, building services, engineering and maintenance disciplines, and award‑winning design solutions consultancy services. The post holder will be responsible for supporting and delivering work on a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Committed to pursuing CPD in all areas
  • Demonstrate an interest in electrical engineering
  • Demonstrate an interest in Atelier Ten’s approach
  • Able to produce complex calculations and drawings under supervision and work independently on some tasks
  • Able to produce complex design under supervision and work independently on some tasks
  • Willingness to develop an awareness and understanding of other disciplines

Project management

  • Liaise with in‑house engineers, the environmental team and CAD team
  • Aware of agreed timescales and able to work to deadlines
  • Provide updates as and when required to line manager

Who are you?

  • Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, IES VE, and building regulation compliance assessments
  • MCIBSE / MIET C Eng accreditation (or actively working towards it)
  • Committed to pursuing CPD in all areas
  • Demonstrate an interest in electrical engineering
  • Demonstrate an interest in Atelier Ten’s approach
  • Able to produce complex calculations and drawings under supervision and work independently on some tasks
  • Able to produce complex design under supervision and work independently on some tasks
  • Willingness to develop an awareness and understanding of other disciplines
  • Liaise with in‑house engineers, the environmental team and CAD team
  • Aware of agreed timescales and able to work to deadlines
  • Provide updates as and when required to line manager
  • Appreciates the importance of clients, architects and other design team members to Atelier Ten
  • Foster positive working relationships within Atelier Ten

Qualifications and skills

  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to prioritise and to think strategically about the timing and way of delivering project information
  • Ability to identify project resource requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills
