If you’re interested joining a fast-growing cleantech venture on a data and AI-first journey to speed up the global transition to clean, affordable energy, read on!We are looking for a curious-minded and passionate Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team.RequiredMore than 5 years’ experience of C software development in an embedded environmentStrong experience developing multi-task low-level software on STM32-based microcontrollers with FreeRTOSAn understanding of digital electronics and the interface between hardware and firmwareStrong experience in low-level peripherals and communications protocols, e.g., SPI, PWM, memory-mapped IOStrong experience in wireless communications, particularly for HTTPS and WebSockets over cellular and WiFiStrong experience debugging embedded software and associated electronics using ICDs and hardware tools, e.g., oscilloscopesStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong experience in the software development lifecycle from concept, to production, and into maintenanceGood university degree (or equivalent), ideally in a relevant engineering discipline, although other graduates would be considered if you have relevant experience.DesirableExperience of C++ in an embedded environmentExperience of building test harness applications using PythonFamiliar with writing manual and automated test casesFamiliar with Agile principles and best practices such as peer review, pair programming, etc.Familiarity with and desire to use AI to improve productivity, processes and firmware capabilitiesWhat you'll do:Design, Code and Test firmware for embedded systems for multiple marketsContribute to the improvement of the structure and design of the codebase for future scalabilityMaintain released products.Provide third-level support.
