Overview

Senior Geotechnical Mining Engineer London £60,000 – An exciting opportunity to join a thriving and highly regarded consultancy working on a wide range of international projects from dams, tailings, gold mines and large infrastructure. This role offers significant scope for overseas travel, exposure to diverse projects, and long-term career progression. You will be involved in both technical delivery and project management, working closely with internal teams and international clients.

You will be working on a variety of projects performing geotechnical risk assessments, slope stability analysis, design of embankments, earthworks, and foundations. As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will also be expected to help develop the team by mentoring Junior Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical risk assessments and slope stability analysis
• Design embankments, earthworks, and foundations as part of project delivery
• Lead technical delivery and project management for international projects
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients across borders
• Mentor Junior Engineers and contribute to team development

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Mining Geology
• Live within a commutable distance from the London office
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in technical report writing
