SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER 45,000 – £55,000 West Midlands or East Midlands Permanent, Full-Time Ceto Talent are working with an infrastructure engineering business to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This is a permanent role offering a salary between £45,000 and £55,000 depending on experience. The position will see you working closely with the Chief Engineer, taking ownership of specialist projects, supporting technical development, and providing engineering authority on a range of infrastructure schemes. The role will involve: * Leading R&D and technical projects, from design through to delivery. * Producing and reviewing fabrication drawings, installation manuals, and technical documentation. * Carrying out engineering calculations and providing guidance on technical developments. * Managing costs, timescales, and quality to ensure successful project outcomes. * Collaborating with subcontractors and internal teams on installation and reinstatement. * Supporting the commercial team by providing technical insight and identifying opportunities for innovation. * Engaging with suppliers and stakeholders to maintain best practice in fabrication and engineering delivery. * Ensuring full compliance with health & safety procedures and statutory requirements.
