As a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer in the \'Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology\' (ADS&T) group, you\'ll play a vital role in shaping projects. You will be involved with all aspects of safety case support, including:
- Shaping the nuclear safety case strategy.
- Working closely with project partners to ensure a safety-informed design.
- Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate ‘Right First Time’ delivery (incl. designers, client, site, and regulatory body such as DNSR or ONR).
- Undertaking safety assessments and safety analysis (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, HAZAN, etc).

Whilst the office base is in Bristol, Manchester, Silchester or Glasgow, flexibility in work location is a must as client sites may require occasional presence.

- You are hungry to expand your knowledge and experience and thrive in a stretching but supportive environment.

- You embrace the digital world and are eager to explore how it can be used in the nuclear safety environment. You engage with others to help them develop and grow.
- You enjoy explaining complex ideas so others can understand and achieve more.
- You are approachable and can easily build and develop relationships and networks.
- Honours Degree (or equivalent) in physics, mechanical engineering, or closely related discipline (2:1 minimum).
- Chartered (or working towards Chartership status).
- Technical practitioner in the Nuclear/Defence domains with demonstrated good engineering judgement and application of fundamental engineering principles.
