New Job Opportunity - Senior Planning Engineer - Initial 12 Month Outside IR35 Contract

Our client is currently in search for a Senior Planning Engineer to work on an Initial 12 Month Contract based in Kingston upon Thames.

Contract: Initially 12 Months

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home

Purpose of the position:

As Planning Engineer you will respond to the Planning Manager and be part of the Offshore Wind business Line. You will ensure the development of the Project Schedule, especially for tenders.

• How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities::
• Ensure the development of the Project Schedule according to contractual requirements and internal standards, verifying its feasibility and highlighting any criticalities
• Implement the Planning and Progress Control System
• Ensure any deviation from the plan is promptly spotted and analysed
• Create a schedule awareness atmosphere amongst all project participants
• Create and maintain the 90 days look-ahead schedule, weekly schedule, and monthly schedule
• Assist the Project Control Manager in the preparation of the Project Status Report
• Support the Project during contract amendments/claims and provide the time impact analysis
• Participate in risk management activities including schedule risk analysis

What are we looking for?

• Experience: 5-10 years in planning activities within the offshore Oil&Gas industry, preferably in offshore wind business
• Education: HNC, HND or bachelor's degree
• Technical skills: planning for tendering projects phases, T&I, possibly EPCI projects
• IT skills: Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
