Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior/Principal Civil-Structural Engineer to join the Decommissioning & Waste Services (DWS) market within our Nuclear & Power business. Ideally based in Northwest England, but other UK locations can be considered.

You will work on projects focused on engineering and waste management for clients in the Nuclear Decommissioning sector, addressing varied engineering, nuclear, and safety challenges through collaborative, multi-skilled teams.

We invest in our people, technology, and resources to deliver innovative projects utilizing advanced techniques, including robotics and active demonstrators.

The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering complex design packages for nuclear clients, overseeing and developing engineers, and collaborating across disciplines. You should be capable of leading projects or contributing as a civil/structural lead with minimal oversight.

The Individual:

• Ability to manage and motivate a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent team player, effective in collaboration across teams and management.
• Experience in engineering design and substantiation, familiar with UK and international codes and regulations. Nuclear sector experience is preferred but not required.
• Incorporated Engineer or working towards chartership with recognized institutions, with a relevant degree.
