We are recruiting for a Senior Production Engineer on behalf of a specialist engineering company in Portsmouth with a unique and highly interesting product range.\n\nRole Summary\n\n * Process Optimization: Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.\n\n * Equipment & Tooling Management: Oversee the selection, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment and tooling, including tool designing, gauges, and fixtures.\n\n * Lean & Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.\n\n * Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, defects, and equipment failures\n\n * Automation & Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency.\n\n * Equipment & Tooling Management: Oversee the selection, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment and tooling, including tool designing, gauges, and fixtures\n\n * Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.\n\nTo apply for this role candidates will have proven experience / knowledge in precision / mechanical manufacturing processes and implemented successful LEAN / CI Programs within these environments
