Method Resourcing is partnering with a global leader in the travel services and benefits sector. They’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive innovation and greenfield functionality as the company explores AI.

Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will join a collaborative, high-impact team where you’ll help shape and deliver cutting-edge solutions. This role gives you the chance to design and build cloud-native platforms that leverage AI, automation, and modern architectures at scale.

Beyond coding, you’ll have a strong voice in product direction, architectural strategy, and fostering an engineering culture rooted in best practices. Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native platforms that leverage AI, automation, and modern architectures at scale.
• Contribute to product direction and architectural strategy.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver reliable software.

Skills & experience

• Tech Stack Expertise – TypeScript (Node.js backend focus) & AWS; familiarity with Kubernetes, GraphQL, Kafka, and MongoDB desirable.
• Architecture & Problem-Solving – Ability to design systems that handle high traffic and integrate into complex environments.
• Tooling & Collaboration – Proficient with Git, Confluence, Jira, and modern engineering workflows.
• APIs – Deep knowledge of building and scaling REST and GraphQL APIs.

Other benefits include work abroad up to 8 weeks per year, 10% discretionary bonus, and 25 days holiday plus tenure-based increases, private medical and dental insurance, life assurance (4x salary), and income protection (75% of base salary).

Working pattern

This role requires 2 days per week onsite in Central London, with 3 days remote (WFH).
