The client seeks an experienced structural engineer who can design in steel, concrete and masonry on UK-based projects up to around GBP 10 million. Responsibilities

• Design structural schemes in steel, concrete and masonry for residential and commercial projects.
• Collaborate within a small, close-knit design team.
• Prepare calculations and drawings; assess structural performance and compliance.
• Potentially conduct structural surveys and site visits as needed.
• Work on UK-based projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 4–5 years of experience in building structures design.
• Experience working on residential projects.
• Experience with CAD; TEKLA/TEDDS experience would be beneficial.
• Previously worked on UK-based projects and comfortable designing with contemporary materials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a small design team.
• Ideally reside within an hour’s commute of the office or be willing to relocate.
