Are you an experienced structural engineer who has worked on a mix of residential and commercial structural design looking for opportunities near Hitchin?

I am currently looking for an individual who can design in steel, concrete and masonry and has worked on UK based projects. Our client works on small to medium scale projects up to the value of around £10 million. Responsibilities

• Design in steel, concrete and masonry for UK-based projects.
• Work on small to medium scale residential and commercial projects up to about £10 million.
• Join and contribute to a small, close-knit design team in a flexible work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to provide robust structural solutions and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 4–5 years of experience in building structures design (minimum).
• Experience working on residential projects.
• Experience completing structural surveys is advantageous.
• Experience using CAD; TEKLA/TEDDS would be beneficial.
• Previously worked on UK-based projects.
• Comfort designing in contemporary materials.
• Ability to work well as part of a small design team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ideally reside within an hour’s commute of the office; relocation considerations possible.
