Senior Structural Engineer

My client, a diverse, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their accomplished team of expert engineers, based in the lively, diverse city of Birmingham.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience in the Structural Engineering consulting sector, having worked across a range of commercial and residential projects
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, or other relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience of industry-based project management
- Knowledge of the relevant section agreements, including S106, S278, etc., and their application
- Experience of managing stakeholders across the public and private sectors, with particular commercial knowledge and awareness
- Good working knowledge of a range of software packages, including AutoCAD, Tekla, etc.
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Structural Engineer to possess the following:
- Chartered Membership of a recognised Professional Body, or actively working to achieve Chartered Status
- Excellent communication skills, with some experience of stakeholder management
- Good time management skills, with the ability to remain flexible and adaptable across a range of projects
- A willingness to engage with a variety of projects, with a view to proactively developing your career
