Role: Senior Support Engineer Salary/Rate: up to £170 per day Location: central London + travel to clientsContract Duration: 3-6-months We are seeking a Senior Support Engineer for an established IT Managed Service Provider delivering outsourced IT support, infrastructure management, and technology solutions to a diverse range of clients. This Senior Support Engineer role is based between on site in central London and travel to client sites as needed. The contract for the Senior Support Engineer position is for 3-6-months. The Senior Support Engineer role is based within the Support department, responsible for overseeing Support Engineers, managing client projects and providing high-level technical support. The role involves mentoring team members, ensuring effective workload management and contributing to both client-facing and internal IT operations. Essential skills/experience required: Strong experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations. Proficient in Windows Server and basic Linux server administration. Skilled in Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, and SSO configuration. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Solid understanding of networking principles and DNS/DHCP management. Familiarity with virtualisation and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, LXD).
