We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.Salary: Negotiable dependant on skills and experienceOverviewThis role involves applying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) subject matter expertise to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities through formal modelling. You will model customer and user needs and influence design activities, ensuring design proving evidence is comprehensive and endorsed by the appropriate authority. You will also integrate models with other models of the submarine platform and report programme status, managing change embodiment where required.ResponsibilitiesApply Model Based Systems Engineering subject matter expertise and domain experience to through the formalised application of modelling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activitiesUnderstand and model the customer and user needs of the product system and how this will influence and impact design activities, technical and operational performanceEnsure design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the model and endorsed by the appropriate level of authorityIntegrate these models to other models of the submarine platformReport the programme status for engineering activities, identify problem areas and implement recovery plans.
