Senior Systems Engineer - RF, Customer Facing, Hands on Technical Development

The prime focus for the role is the front end, working closely with the commercial teams. There will be some customer-facing work alongside the commercial team, as well as helping to improve processes and procedures. There is also a very large focus on hands on technical development, and exposure to RF is desirable.

We’re supporting a cutting-edge engineering team near Northampton/Milton Keynes, UK who are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing operation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on being hands-on, driving technical development, and solving complex engineering challenges—not just focusing on strategy or people management.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading system design, requirements capture, and verification throughout the full lifecycle Working directly with RF, Hardware, Mechanical, and Embedded teams Contributing hands-on to technical development, design reviews, and system delivery Applying your problem-solving skills to tackle complex engineering challenges Supporting customer-facing activities and process improvements alongside the commercial team

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in systems engineering Strong hands-on technical background Knowledge of system design, integration, and verification Ideally, awareness of RF technologies A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and strong team collaboration skills

Security

British or ability to obtain required security clearance (SC).

Travel & Working Environment

Travel unlikely/limited. Onsite working including working from home policy (3 office/2 WFH).
