Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge are looking for a Shift Engineer to join our team! What you will do: As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotels facilities to the highest standards. Your duties will include: Implementing and managing preventative maintenance of all equipment and updating maintenance logs
Diagnosing and repairing equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and associated systems throughout the building
Responding promptly to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas
Being familiar with and responding to emergency procedures such as fires and power failures
Cleaning engineering stations, grease traps, and plumbing stoppages, while maintaining an organized department
Installing or relocating equipment as needed
Supporting energy conservation programs within the hotel
Installing electrical and mechanical systems for renovations and exhibits, and maintaining those setups
The ideal Shift Engineer will have: Previous experience in this role within a 5 star luxury environment
The technical knowledge and expertise to provide electrical and general repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers and associated equipment throughout the hotel
An awareness of safe working practices
Ability to work as part of a dedicated and passionate team
Strong communication skills with a good level of written and spoken English
Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours
Schedule and hours: This position operates on a4 on, 4 offshift pattern, with each shift lasting12 hours. Candidates must be flexible and available to workmornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shiftsas required to support the needs of the hotel.
